Investopedia: Sen. Warren Asks Fidelity, Other Funds to Demand Gun Industry Change
Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is calling on some of the nation's largest fund companies and investors in gun companies – including Fidelity Investments, Vanguard, Invesco and BlackRock, Inc. (BLK) – to use their clout to demand change from the gun industry.

"Now it's time to put your money where your mouth is," Warren wrote in one of the letters that was sent to Larry Fink, head of BlackRock, according to The Boston Globe. Warren wants the fund companies to pressure the gun manufacturers to impose their own age restrictions and waiting periods as well as invest in developing guns that are safer. The senator is requesting detailed reports on what the fund companies plan to do by March 9.
