The Springfield Republican: Worcester Fire Department receives $173K grant for safe cooking program

The Worcester Fire Department received a $173,131 Federal Emergency Management Agency grant to support the department's safe cooking fire prevention program.
Congressman James P. McGovern and Senators Elizabeth Warren and Edward Markey announced the grant last week. A total of roughly $2.6 million in grants are going to departments in Massachusetts.
