Senator Warren Statement on Supreme Court Decision on EMTALA

Washington, D.C.  – Today, following the Supreme Court’s decision in Moyle v. U.S., the case that weighed the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA), Senator Elizabeth Warren released the following statement:

“The Supreme Court decided to wait until after the election to tell Americans whether women who are in crisis can get the emergency medical care they need. The Supreme Court doesn’t get the final word on abortion – the American people do.”
