Senator Warren Applauds Opening of New Pipefitters Local 537 Training Center

500 New Construction Workers to Be Trained at Dorchester Facility Over Next Four Years

Washington, DC - United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) today issued the following statement congratulating the Pipefitters Local 537 on the opening this week of their new training center in Dorchester, Massachusetts:

"The grand opening of the Pipefitters Local 537 training center is wonderful news for Dorchester and for the Commonwealth. This new facility, which will help train over 500 new construction workers, is a perfect example of the critical role that unions play in strengthening the middle class and growing our local economy.
