Boston, MA - United States Senator Elizabeth Warren today announced that Leslie Forde, founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mom’s Hierarchy of Needs, will be her virtual guest at the State of the Union address today, Tuesday, March 1st.
Forde is a Massachusetts business leader and founder and CEO of Mom’s Hierarchy of Needs, an online community that provides resources and support for working mothers. A member of the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts, she also consults with employers to develop practices that support caregivers and promote workforce retention. Leslie Forde has been a leading voice for policies that will benefit working families, such as increasing access to affordable and quality child care and transportation, expanding mental health initiatives, preserving child tax credits, and canceling student loan debt.
“Leslie Forde has dedicated her career to pushing for policies to help families across the Commonwealth, including calling for access to child care, transportation, and mental health services, things that I’m fighting for in Washington to get parents back to work and the economy on track. I’m glad that she will be joining me virtually for the State of the Union address,” said Senator Warren.
“Thank you to Senator Elizabeth Warren for continuing to fight for working families across Massachusetts at the federal level. Today I am honored to be her virtual guest for the State of the Union,” said Leslie Forde.
