Senator Warren Announces “Mass. Business Matchmaker” Event
BOSTON, MA – On Monday, March 24th at Roxbury Community College, United States Senator Elizabeth Warren will host a “Mass. Business Matchmaker” event for local small businesses, government agencies, and government contractors to identify partnership opportunities. The event is being co-sponsored by the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, General Services Administration (GSA), Small Business Administration (SBA), and other federal agencies.
“Small business owners are tireless, hard workers who are a vital part of our economy and our federal supply chain, and their companies are founded by strong people with good ideas and a determination to succeed," said Senator Warren. "We have a lot of terrific small businesses here in Massachusetts, and I want to be sure that every one of them knows about opportunities to work with the federal government—and I want the federal government to know more about our small businesses.”
The “Mass. Business Matchmaker” event will provide a forum for contractors and government agencies to meet one-on-one with qualified small business owners, and will allow small businesses to highlight their services and goods and learn how to take advantage of business opportunities with the federal government. Small businesses can register to attend the event HERE.
