Trump COVID-19 Watch

Washington, DC - Elizabeth Warren is continuing her oversight of the Trump Administration's COVID-19 response. Government delivers best when its actions are fair, transparent and accountable. But President Donald Trump's approach to this crisis doesn't reflect those values.

Senators Warren, Schumer, and Blumenthal released new findings and documents from their investigation of the Trump-Kushner "Project Air Bridge" coronavirus response which has been marred by delays, incompetence, confusion, and secrecy. The senators requested that the new Inspectors General CARES Act Pandemic Response Accountability Commission investigate.

The Department of Labor Inspector General agreed to investigate specific concerns raised by Senator Warren and colleagues about the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) inadequate enforcement amid growing worker COVID-19 illnesses and deaths.

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights agreed to Senator Warren's and Congresswoman Haaland's request to update the Broken Promises Report and examine COVID-19 impact on Indian Country.

During a Senate Banking Hearing, Senator Warren pushed back on Republican proposals to shield companies from all liability for workers or customers getting sick at their business.

Senator Warren called on SBA and Treasury to ensure that child care providers can access small business loans.

UPCOMING: Senator Warren will be seeking more information on Dr. Moncef Slaoui's Operation Warp Speed appointment.
