MassLive: US Sen. Elizabeth Warren wants public companies to report workplace harassment, discrimination settlements
Following the series of high-profile workplace sexual harassment and abuse allegations that have surfaced in recent months, U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is looking to require publicly traded companies to disclose any settlements arising from such claims.

Warren offered that the proposed "Sunlight in Workplace Harassment Act" is needed to address issues raised as part of the "#MeToo" movement, which has sparked a national discussion on sexual abuse and harassment.
"We are in a moment in American history where people are coming together to say 'enough.' But there won't be real change until harassment in all corners of the country is exposed and the harassers are held accountable," she said in a statement.
