MassLive: US Sen. Elizabeth Warren blasts Mick Muvlaney's 'incomplete' response to questions on CFPB leadership
U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Massachusetts, again called on Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney Friday to address questions raised over his actions at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, arguing that this previous responses to such inquiries were "evasive, misleading or incomplete."
Warren, who helped create the watchdog agency after the 2008 financial crisis, sent a 17-page letter to Mulvaney -- her 10th to the OMB and CFPB director since November -- seeking responses to more than 100 questions which said said he has not yet answered.
The senator further requested that he provide more information and fuller answers on those to which he did respond by the end of the month.
