Cape Cod Today: Senator Elizabeth Warren brings her "Fighting for Massachusetts" tour to the Cape Wednesday

Senator Elizabeth Warren will be on Cape Cod today, visiting four towns from Harwichport to Woods Hole. The senator's visit is part of her "Fighting for Massachusetts" tour.

First up, Warren is scheduled to visit the Cape Abilities Farm at 458 Route 6A in Dennis at 10 a.m. There she will meet with the farm's employees and volunteers. The farm employees disabled individuals in all aspects of farm management.

For the next three stops, Senator Warren will be joined by Congressman Bill Keating. Their first stop will be at WE CAN at 783 Route 28 in Harwichport at 10:45 a.m. WE CAN is a local non-profit dedicated to empowering and supporting Cape women during difficult life transitions.

The next stop is the Barnstable Town Hall at 367 Main Street in Hyannis at noon, where the pair will hold office hours for local constituents. Cape voters are encouraged to come and speak with Senator Warren and Congressman Keating.

The final Cape stop will be at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in Woods Hole (WHOI) at 2 p.m., where the senator and congressman will tour the Laboratory for Ocean Sensors and Observing Systems (LOSOS). According to a release from Senator Warren's Office, the LOSOS facility was built in part with $8.1 million in federal funding.

While the Senate is in its summer recess, Warren has been touring the commonwealth. The pols will be back in DC in the beginning of September when the recess ends.
