Associated Press: With an eye toward affected citizens, US Sen. Elizabeth Warren working to delay new federal flood insurance rules

WASHINGTON (AP) - U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren says she's concerned about new federal flood insurance rules.

Warren is pressing Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator Craig Fugate about the impact of the new rules on families in Massachusetts and across the country who have been placed into a flood zone for the first time.

Warren said those families are now being asked to pay thousands of dollars in premiums.
